PIZZA STONE “XXL” and  PIZZA PEEL This PIZZA STONE “XXL” is made for US-american ""large-space"" ovens or for custom cutting of special PIZZA STONES with higher depth measurements ! ( In combination with our CUTTING SERVICE ) The real pizza of Napoli will get its characteristic and unique taste only by baking it in a stone oven. In these wood-fired brick ovens the floor is tiled with heat-storing clay bricks on which the pizza is directly placed. Only on a real fireclay brick ( without glaze ) will the pizza develop its crispy and crunchy dough, because the pizza draws the heat directly from the hot brick. The porous fireclay brick also absorbs any excess moisture from the dough, enabling the crust to turn crispy with the topping remaining soft and ""juicy"". When using our PIZZA STONE, which is also made of fireclay, you only need to place the stone ( both sides can be used ) onto the grate of your electric- or gas-oven. After preheating the oven at its highest setting for about 30 - 40 minutes, the PIZZA STONE will have reached the perfect temperature and you can proceed to bake your pizza.
